Double Page Spread...

Contents

Finished Cover

Front Cover

I chose this picture to use as my front cover, because i like the contrast between the jacket and the background and the pillow and the background. I also think it fits in well with the demographics i hope to reach out to. I feel the pillow allows a sense of both creative experimentalist and security seekers into the magazine and also materlistic demographics.I also think the fact that the shot is taken from a higher angle provides the sense of innocene into the magazine.

I have decided to use this picute as my contents, although i will be editing the red lips out, as i feel they will interfere with the colour of the text i am thining about using.
I like  angle the shot was taken at and feel it would be a good image to use on my contents as there is not much going on.
I will however change the transparency to make the image slightly light so you are able to see any text that may cover the image.

Double Page Spread...

i think i will enjoy creating the double page spread the most out of all three tasks within the project. As i think i will  elaberate on a lifeistyle i dont  live in order to make the interview as interesting as possible.
I want to focus my questions around the change from student like to stardem, how her family have coped and anything she wants to say to aspiring artists.

I will try to create a believable interview using informal questions in order to ensre that the writing was readable and not to 'prepared and artificial'
I will use little effects from real magazines that i thought help create a better interview such as [brackets with the artists emotions]
"Quotes enlarged throught the interview"
Picutres to create a fun interview
and colour to allow my readers to establish between questions and answers.

Photoshoot...

In order to create a magazine i want to stand out from the rest i was aware that i needed to think creativly from start to finish, begining with my photos. I managed to set up a small area in my bedroom that i thought would be a good space, and would capture the light in the right way so that when i came to edit my pictures there would be a great deal of contrast.

As far as the costume goes, i wanted it to be as natural as possible, in order to do this i just chose an outfit felt comfortable with and worked with it when editing the photos. I also wanted to be as individual as possible in order to achieve my creative experimentalist demographic, therefore was willing to experiement with different items in my bedroom, for example using a pillow.

I am able to use a DSLR camera and tripod in order to differ the camera angles and zoom for my photo's, this i feel helped a great deal because i was able to experiment with different shots including; close up, mid shots, high point of view, low point of view.

Here is a selected few picutres i took whilst experimenting, these are before they were edited.

Here is a copy of some of ym photos once i had edited them, it was out of these pictures and a selected other few that i had chosen to use throughout my magazine on the cover, contents and double page spread.
