Whilst researching for my magazine cover, I have found that most successful magazines use only one large image on the front cover. This image is usually of a featuring artist/band or celebrity. This image is normally central and the main feature on the front of the cover. It is for the simple reason that I feel most well established, successful magazines tend to concentrate on only one thing on the cover to ensure that the cover is not too busy for the reader.
