Influences...

Lately i have been researching into recent stars and other media references along with my personal opinions in order to begin putting togeter a style for my magazine.
I have been greatly influenced by Skins and the characters, i like the edgy-ness to each character and how there 'rebelious' yet fashionable sense of style is pieced together completeing the image of the rebelious teenagres. I think this would be a good sense of style for my front cover, because it sums up the target age group.
I also recently attended a Lady Gaga concert, and was astonished by the way she reaches out to her crowd, i love the way she is not tied up with fame and in the same celebrity bubble as many other celebrities and how she is unafraid to be different. I became intrigued with her outrageous costume, and completely different/unique personality which makes her a huge hit with the age audience i would like to reach out too when creating my magazine.
Paloma Faith, Florence and the Machine and Kate Nash are a few of my favourite artist. I feel the genre of music they come under would be a a fantastic hit with my target audience as when completing a survey most people were more into Indie music.
