In order to create a unique, successful magazine i will have to research into other well established magazines, in order to ensure that my magazine will be seperate from others and have individual selling points.
When researching into current magazines i must investigate the following:
.Current successful artists/music genres - by knowing the size of the audience and type of artists it enables me to help me figure out what genre of music magazine would be more successful.
.Current music magazines - are my main competition, therefore i need to research what makes certain magazines more successful than others.
.Analasys of other magazines - this will help me recognize the codes and conventions of music magazines, what appeals to certain people and what will sell more.
